Vacation Package Rates

For package rates for each of our programs, please view the specific program of interest: hiking, road biking, mountain biking, ski touring, or wilderness skiing.

All of our packages are custom-designed to suit your preferences for accommodations and daily activity. Biking packages include multi-course dinner served at each inn; comfortable country inn accommodations; full hot breakfasts; our detailed door-to-door maps/cue sheets customized to your desired mileage; an orientation talk at the first inn; daily luggage transfer; and all taxes (9%) and required gratuities. Out-of-pocket expenses on your tour will be lunch daily and any alcohol you may wish at dinner. Hiking/walking and skiing/snowshoeing packages include the above components plus hiker's trail lunch daily, our suggestions for hiking near each inn, innkeeper's "trail talk" (daily advice on current conditions), local trail maps and descriptions, trail day use fees when applicable, and hiker-to-trailhead or car shuttling when required. Hiking/walking packages do not include luggage transfer, so you’ll need a car. In addition to our popular self-guided vacations, we do offer several guided trips each year led by experienced interpretive naturalists. Guided trips include on-trip transportation by van, the dedicated service of our guides, and on-trip luggage transfer.

Two hikers in the woodsA deposit of $50 per person per night confirms your reservation. The deposit less a flat $75 charge is refundable up to 30 days prior to the start date of your trip. Your balance is due 30 days prior to the start of the trip. A credit for a future trip in the same or next calendar year will be given for cancellations given with at least 15 days notice. Unfortunately, no refunds or credits can be made for cancellations within 14 days of the start date of the trip.

All of our rates are "ppdo," which stands for per person based on double occupancy. This is the rate one person would pay if they are two to a room. Single-occupancy guests pay a single supplement above this rate, which varies depending on the inn.

We recommend that you purchase travel insurance. This is an inexpensive way to provide coverage for lost baggage, medical emergencies, and trip cancellation. Country Inns Along the Trail makes no endorsement of any of the following, but our guests have had success in dealing with them over the years. We have no financial relationship with any of them. Contact any of them or another insurer of your choice for a free quote.
